PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:


SUKLEEN is a specially formulated new generation, silicate LIQUID OR POWER electro-degreaser suitable for both high & low current density continuous electrolytic cleaning lines (ECL) prior to batch annealing furnace (BAF). It is also suitable for spray / dip type pre cleaning/EC application.

SUKLEEN is an excep tionally effe ctive Sodium and p otas sium hydr oxides ba sed heavy du ty Phospha te enri ched Silicate liquid electro- cleaner designed to remove various types of Coolants black an d b rown pa tches , Rolling oils, iron s oaps, metallic sm uts as well as carbo naceo us dirt from C old r olled coils in ECL.

SUKLEEN is a composite cleaner in which all the required ingredients have been incorporated. Only defoamer (SUFOAM) has to be added separately to control foaming in the cleaning / degreasing operation.

BASIC SYSTEM INGREDIENTS:

  • Sodium Hydroxides.
  • Potassium hydroxide
  • Sodium carbonate
  • Silicates.
  • Complex Inorganic Phosphates.
  • Chelating Agents / Sequestering Agent.
  • Dispersing Agent.
  • Emulsif ying Agent.
  • W etting Agent. Other Proprietary Surfactants & additives.

SYSTEM CONSTITUENTS

  • (A) SUKLEEN - Liquid silicate Base cleaner.
  • (B) SUFOAM -Defoamer(silicon base) concentrate to control foam

INITIAL BATH MAKE UP:

Add 30 – 80 kg of SUKLEEN in water per 1000 L bath.

ANALYTICAL CONTROL:

Determination of bath Concentration of SUKLEEN

Pipette 10 ml of working ba th s olution in to a 250ml conical flask. Add 50 ml of de - mineralized water. Add 2-3 dr ops of p heno lphthalein indica tor . Titr ate with 1.0(N) sulphuric acid pink to a clear colourless end poin t.

Concentration of SUKLEEN (g/L) = ml of 1.0(N) sulphuric acid (BR) X Product Factor

Concentration of SUKLEEN (by w/v %) = ml of 1.0 N sulphuric acid (BR) X Product Factor

REPLENISHMENT:

Analysis the bath a t least o nce or twice in a shift a nd re plenish a ccordingly to main tain the con centration in the opera ting ra nge. The cl eaner ba th has a f oaming te nden cy with incr easing oil load. To su ppress the foam addi tion of defoa mer (SUFOAM) will be required by au tomati c dosing system.

DISCARDAL:

SUKLEEN bath h as a long life due to high oil l oad toleran ce. In sophis tica ted line con ditio ns, i t can be used as a long life cleaner. In general , per missible oil load limits are 4 g/ L & 2. 5 g/L in precleaning an d Electroclea ning ta nk res pectiv ely. To maintain the oil load within the ra n ge,

DISPOSAL:

The was te is str ongly alkaline and may be ne utralised in the ETP plant by using pickling w aste or by mineral acids. After neu tralising, the s upernatant liquid may be dis charged while the sludge may be dumped un dergroun d by follo wing local regulatio ns.

1 year from month o f man ufacture.

SAFETY:

SUKLEEN is alkaline in natu re, Aprons , gloves goggles and boo ts should be used while han dling these prod ucts

PACKING:

SUKLEEN in 260 kg HDPE bar rel / 1250 kg IBC or as per con tra ct .

SUFOAM in 50 kg HDP E con tainer.
