INIT IAL BAT H MAKE UP
Add 100 to 300 ml. SUFOAM per 1000 L. cleaner bath solution / alkaline system pre-diluted with 10-20 L of water.
OPERAT ING PARAMET ERS:
Concentration: 0.1 – 0.2 ml/L. in cleaner bath / alkaline system
Concentration: 300 C to 80 0 C or as applicable
ANALYT ICAL CONT ROL:
Not applicable
REPL ENISHMENT
Add 0.05 to 0.1 ml/L per day (8 hours working basis) if foaming occurs or as required to suppress any objectionable foaming preferably pre-dissolved in 15-20 times of water. Continuous drip feed technique/separate dosing system may also be useful for large installations.
DISPOSAL
The waste is strongly alkaline and may be neutralized in the effluent treatment plant by using derusting or pickling waste or by mineral acids. After neutralizing, the supernatant liquid may be discharged, while the sludge may be dumped underground.
